Questions
Before you ask.
Does Kris travel to Kyogle?
Yes. Kyogle is about an hour north-west of Ballina. Every job is quoted, so tell him the date and the place and the number covers the drive.
Where are the best photo spots in Kyogle?
Captain Cook Memorial Lookout over the town and the hills behind it, and the Pinnacle Lookout up the Tweed Range scenic drive for rainforest escarpment and Wollumbin. The Richmond River runs through town, and Toonumbar Dam is out to the west. Unlike the coast, this is late-light country.
What does Kris photograph in Kyogle?
The Kyogle Show and community events, family and portrait sessions from $250, real estate and rural listings, and drone stills and 4K video, which is what the ranges are made for. National parks have their own rules, so ask before the day.
